| CONSTRUCTION UPDATE We are pleased to announce that last week the City of San Antonio issued the final building permit for the project! We are very satisfied with the pace of construction on this project. The following is a brief summary of the ongoing construction activity: Installation of the parking garage foundation will begin in 2 weeks and the parking garage subcontractor will start installing precast components in mid-January 2008. Later this month CF Jordan will start installing the mockup for the exterior skin (brick, plaster, windows, balcony doors). We anticipate installation of the transformers within the next 2 weeks and permanent electricity later this month. The utility subcontractor is 80% complete with underground work. CF Jordan anticipates pouring the first floor slab for the tower in mid-December and elevated concrete slab pours continue to proceed as scheduled. This week our concrete subcontractor poured the 7th floor and anticipates pouring the 8th floor mid-month. Probably the greatest transformation in appearance has been the installation of exterior metal studs through the 4th floor. Interior metal studs are almost complete on the second floor and the framing subcontractor will start framing the 3rd floor next week. It is exciting to walk the project these days because it is easy to get a sense of the definition of space now that the wall studs are installed. Plumbing rough in is underway on the 2nd floor. Electrical underground work is almost complete and electricians are installing trapezes, setting electrical boxes for the main feeder, and will start in-wall rough in next week. Mechanical interior layout work has also started. |
| TIME IS RUNNING OUT Construction is in full swing, and so is the Vidorra sales team! All of the townhomes and two of the floorplans are now sold out, and many plans have fewer than 5 available.
