DOWNTOWN LIVNG SPECIAL FEATURE:
Museum Reach Opens

One of downtown’s most anticipated projects is now complete! The 1.3 mile northern extension of San Antonio’s world-famous River Walk officially opened May 30th.  Called the Museum Reach Urban Segment, this extension stretches from Lexington Avenue to the Pearl Brewery, including a barge stop at the San Antonio Museum of Art.  With 12 original art installations on this stretch of the River Walk, there’s plenty to see whether you choose to take a leisurely stroll or ride the barge through the new lock and dam system near the Brooklyn Street Bridge.
